The company says the new operation, opening from February 27, will provide a high level of service to customers at Essex Yacht Marina and Essex Boatyards, which operates its East Coast Fairline sales operations at the location.

The workshop will allow Volspec to take large vessels and the sales operation will be permanently staffed by qualified engineers selling Volvo Penta parts.

Volspec director Robert Brammer said: “We see this as a positive step forward in difficult times to promote our company and to build on our successful reputation.”

Volspec, which employs 22 staff, has its headquarters in Tollesbury on the River Blackwater, and Suffolk branches at Woolverstone Marina on the River Orwell and Felixstowe docks.
